Monster Energy is no stranger to the world of video games. You might recall they teamed up with Microsoft to produce Halo-themed cans. Maybe you’ve played Death Stranding, where protagonist Sam Bridges drinks Monster like water. Or maybe you’re a motocross fan. If that’s the case, then you might be excited. Monster Energy Supercross- The Official Videogame 5 entered Early Access today.

It should be noted that the game is currently only available to players who pre-ordered the Special Edition on a console. Everyone else will have to wait until it becomes available for purchase on March 17.

The Monster Energy Supercross series began in 2018. The games are based on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship, and they feature bikes, tracks, and riders from the real world. The series strives to be realistic. According to today’s official announcement:

Classic features are back, as well. Players can customize tracks in the track editor or explore the open world Compound alone or with friends. The game supports online and split-screen multiplayer.

The Rider Shape System isn’t the only addition to the game. Monster Energy Supercross- The Official Videogame 5 introduces a tutorial mode called the Future Academy, where players can learn from motocross pro-Ricky Carmichael:

Monster Energy Supercross- The Official Videogame 5 is out now in Early Access on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It will come to Steam on March 17.
