Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate fans who have plowed their way through the main game and feel that they have done ‘everything’ the game has to offer will be happy to know that Capcom has released a free DLC update for the game.

The free Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate content is jam packed with 14 new quests, new bosses, armor, weapons and items. It even includes a very special Sonic The Hedgehog palico skin. If you plan on picking it up you should do so now by simply logging into Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The DLC servers are set to go down for maintenance from 22:00 on Sat 4 Apr. to 10:00 Sun 5 Apr. (BST). Thankfully the online servers are unaffected. This comes from an announcement on the official Monster Hunter Twitter account.

Capcom has also released a new trailer to showcase the content which you can check out below.

It is great that Capcom is continuing to support the title with free content for fans. It is even cooler that it includes third-party stuff from the likes of SEGA. If the trend continues we will likely see a lot of the content released in Japan, stateside. So if we have any luck, Capcom will continue to put out free monthly updates and that is always a good thing.
