Where to Find Dragonhusk Shards in Monster Hunter Rise
To find Dragonhusk Shards in Monster Hunter Rise, all you need to do is look through bone piles. These piles of bones appear early on in the game. Unfortunately, Dragonhusk Shards are not in just any bone pile. They spawn in the Frost Islands area. The Frost Islands are the second area of the game. You’ll just have to keep doing Village quests that are one star in order to make your way to two-star quests. Once you’ve done this, you can venture into the harsh environment in the Frost Islands.

The map will be covered in fog the first time you enter the Frost Islands, but if you use the map below you can easily make your way to the bone piles in the area. Once you have encountered all the bone piles they will be automatically marked in your map under Materials 2.
These bone piles will respawn after some time, so be sure to use their marked locations often. This way you can easily farm the Dragonhusk Shards. Also, after you set foot in the Frost Islands, the other bone piles in Monster Hunter Rise will have a chance of dropping Dragonhusk Shards themselves.
