Capcom has released a new trailer covering details on the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak free title update 3 and release date. Presented during the official November 16 Monster Hunter Rise digital event, the update will be available on November 24, 2022.
What To Expect from Free Title Update 3
The third title update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak brings a host of new content and features to the DLC, following up from the previous update, including new monsters, weapons, skins and armor, modes, and more!
Three new monsters have been added: Chaotic Gore Magala, Risen Teostra, and Risen Kushala Daora.
The Gore Magala shed their skin until they mature into Shagaru Magala, though sometimes a defect can occur that traps them halfway between their adolescent and mature state, creating the Chaotic variant.
Risen Teostra and Kushala Daora also bring a new challenge to the table, as their Risen forms can cause more widespread destruction. Hunters must first achieve the rank of MR120 before facing off against them.
In place of that, Hunters now have even more ways to sharpen their skills in the form of new A7★ Anomaly Quests featuring Flaming Espinas, Scorned Magnamalo, Seething Bazelgeuse, and more. The Anomaly Investigation system will now raise the level cap to 200, and materials from Anomaly Investigations can be used to augment categories for both weapons and armor.
Finally, Hunters who have grown attached to their villagers can now bring their Followers with them on almost every Master Rank quest to strengthen their bonds. In addition, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Free Title Update 3 offers a variety of new paid DLC content like new gestures, stickers, music, player voices like the new “Kagami” voice, and the “Hinoa” layered armor set.
Plus, hunters who love cuddly creatures can purchase either individual weapons or the entire collection of the plush “Stuffed Monster Series,” alongside an expanded list of other unlockable layered weapon options.
New Event Quests will also be added to Monster Hunter to continue to reward players with new equipment, stickers, poses, and items. The update will be available for all players on November 24, 2022.
