Players of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak who wish to climb the Master Rank charts must ensure they have the greatest tools and weapons available. They must thus locate the new crafting components and resources that the Sunbreak update has brought. Hunters can get The Prized Pelt, one of the new varieties of crafting materials, by carving two different kinds of creatures. Hunters may learn which creatures in the game give Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Prized Pelts and where to get them by following this helpful guide.

Getting Prized Pelts in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

The best method to get Prized Pelt in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is to kill and carve Kelbi and Anteka.

Kelbi are peaceful, dwarven-like animals that may be found in the Shrine Ruins, Sandy Plains, Flooded Forest, and Jungle. It should just take a few strikes to defeat them but take care—a huge monster can frighten the Kelbi away.

By carving the Kelbi, there is a 30% chance of obtaining a Prized Pelt. Players seeking these little creatures should visit the Shrine Ruins while they are on Master Rank and wander about Areas 11, 12, and 13. It should be possible for hunters to defeat at least 5-6 easy prey.

Another animal named Anteka can be carved in order for hunters to get Prized Pelts. These have big horns that protrude from their heads and resemble bulls. Despite being generally gentle, they tend to attack hunters if they ever feel threatened.

Only the Frost Islands, notably Area 1, contain Anteka. However, you must first achieve Master Rank. Users cannot loot Prized Pelts from these bison if they haven’t done that yet. Carving Anteka has an 18% chance of producing a Prized Pelt. Therefore you should preferably hunt Kelbi when you can.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
