The Divine Rhino is an Account Item in Monster Hunter Rise that serves as a quest item for “The Radiant Rhino,” a mission given by Senior Hunter Hananega. In this side quest, Hananega tasks the Hunter with delivering Divine Rhinos ×2. These large beetles are characterized by a gold-plated body and a head equipped with a central horn and two massive pincers. Like other insects found within a locale, Divine Rhinos in MHR do not move and can always be found in the same fixed locations. Finding Divine Rhinos in Monster Hunter Rise

To find Divine Rhinos in Monster Hunter Rise, Hunters must head to the Flooded Forest in High Rank and search for farming spots known as Shining Rhinos. These Shining Rhino locations have a chance to spawn a Divine Rhino in MHR‘s Flooded Forest, meaning that players might need to complete multiple runs to fulfill “The Radiant Rhino” quest.

Below is every potential Divine Rhino location in MHR:

  • The ridge between Areas 12 and 10: Starting from the first campsite in the Flooded Forest, face northward and use the Wirebug in MHR to ascend the ridge. Go through the shortcut tunnel and climb up the cliffs to find a small pyramid. Reach the top and check behind the pillars for the Shining Rhino
  • Area 11’s peaks: This Rhino beetle is on a tree on the eastern cliff of Area 11.
  • Area 7’s northern cliffs: Ascend the waterfall at the basin to reach the hidden ridge up north. The Shining Rhino will be on one of the trees on the small plateau.
  • The ziggurat of Areas 2 and 3: Reach the top of the giant ziggurat and use a Large Barrel Bomb to blast through a wall. Inside the secret room in MHR, Hunters will find a Shining Rhino near the entrance.
  • Eastern river bank of Area 3: Go to the eastern river bank behind the ziggurat and check the trees on the northern side for the last beetle.

After finding two Divine Rhinos, Hunters can return to the village the fulfill the delivery. Completion of “The Radiant Rhino” side quest will reward players with the Design for the Ladybug Cannon I, a Heavy Bowgun that can be upgraded twice to become the Ladybug Mortar.
