Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World holds at number one of the Japanese charts one more week, according to Media Create. The game has now claimed the top spot for a sixth consecutive week, proving to be a huge success with the power to hold the interest from the public and keep selling in the long term. Nonetheless, Capcom has confirmed that World is its best selling game in the history of the company. A huge feat to achieve not even two months after its worldwide release.

The highest new entry belongs to the Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Quest Builders, the game already available on PS4 and PSVita that is now trying to capture part of the audience of the platform in preparation to the arrival of Dragon Quest Builders 2 this year. While the game debuts at number 2, sales are largely unimpressive considering other releases of the platform, but of course we are talking about a verly late port. Other new releases include Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege – Advanced Edition for PS4, and Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima for Nintendo 3DS.

On the hardware list, Nintendo Switch seems stabilized at number 1 after PS4’s string of weeks at the top. Surprisingly, Sony’s console now seems to be the one that is suffering from stock issues due to the high demand after the release of Monster Hunter.
