Monster Hunter fans are eager to play the next main entry on their PS4 and Xbox One consoles this January. However, a group of users who will have to wait some time to try the action title are PC gamers, who until now didn’t even know when their version of the game might drop. Today, Capcom has finally given a release window for the verion, which still seems to be a bit far away. The team currently aims to release the PC port this autumn, which means that players will have to wait many months until they can get their hands on it.

The information has been revealed by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto in a video message in which he also wishes the fans a happy new year. He says: “As for the PC version, we’re working hard on it right now, and aiming for an autumn 2018 release. We’ll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience.”

Saying that it launches next autumn is obviously not very specific, but it’s easy to understand that the team hasn’t worked out a more concrete date when the release is so far away.

Monster Hunter: World launches worldwide on January 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. Watch the video message by Ryozo Tsujimoto below.
