Fairly lenient requirements overall, though something has to give if you’re looking to hit 60FPS.

On top of the announcement that Monster Hunter: World will be coming to PC on Aug. 9, Capcom also revealed both of its minimum and recommended requirements to make your hunter’s experience in the New World an enjoyable one.

Overall, the requirements aren’t that high and are actually pretty much on par what you needed to run Destiny 2 on its recommended settings, so it shouldn’t cost you an arm and leg to get the most out of your hunting experience. Furthermore, the game is remarkably small by comparison, only requiring 20 GB on your hard drive to install.

The only thing disconcerting here is the fact that the announcement notes Monster Hunter: World  will still only run at 30FPS if you’re set to 1080p on high graphic settings when using the recommended settings. In all honesty, it’s not surprising considering the sheer amount of stuff that can occur on your screen at once, but it still does mean players will need to either reduce the resolution or graphics settings to get the game to run at 60 FPS.

It’s annoying, sure, but it still doesn’t negate the fact that Monster Hunter: World is finally coming to PC.

Monster Hunter: World is available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is due out for the PC on Aug. 9.
