Capcom has released a new trailer of Monster Hunter: World focused on the figure of the Elder Dragons, a specially threatening group of monsters that, as the video suggests, will play a big role in the story. Some creatures that make an appearance are Kushala Daora, which defends itself by generating strong wind storms, and Teostra, who spits fire at any hunter who dares to face it in battle.

We can also see a new critter called Dodogama, which throws a special kind of explosive saliva envolving rocks, acting as bombs when they hit the ground. But that’s not all, as the video ends with a preview of one of the monsters that all owners of the game will receive periodically after launch. In this case we get a glimpse at Deviljho, which made its first appearance on the series in Monster Hunter Tri.

Those eager to try the game before its release will have their chance with the new open beta that will launch for all PS4 users from North America, Europe, and Japan, from anuary 18th to the 22nd, as the company has confirmed in the latest press release.

Monster Hunter: World launches on PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th. A version for PC will launch in the fall. Watch the new trailer below.
