It seems that creature collecting games have been all the craze as of late, with many gravitating towards the various offerings. From the Pokemon Sword and Shield plus its expansions, along with the consistent updates from Temtem, there’s plenty for fans of these kinds of games. That’s not to even mention the stunning beauty we’ve seen thus far, especially from Temtem (at least in my opinion). Another creature collecting title from the folks at moi rai games is ready to enter the fray. Monster Sanctuary has finally left Early Access on Steam, along with joining the Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 consoles! If you’re curious about what this creature-collector has to offer, check out the game’s launch trailer below.

What is Monster Sanctuary?

Monster Sanctuary puts you in the shoes of the latest heir of Monster Keepers. As this powerful human, you must traverse vast, rich landscapes to put an end to an age-old threat. This threat seeks to put an end to the peace between humans and monsters, thus threatening you in the process. Using the various creatures you find along the way, you must battle various rivals, wild monsters, and online opponents in 3v3 battles. Nothing will score you victory but your strategic wit, and maybe a few monster companions along the way. If this isn’t convincing enough, Monster Sanctuary’s 94% recommended rating on Steam should be more than enough to sway you.

The lengthy time in Steam Early Access has allowed Team17 and moi rai games to refine Monster Sanctuary extensively. The early access period saw over 100 monsters across 13 different areas, giving players plenty to hunt and collect on their adventures. Through today’s update, players can expect an Abandoned Tower, a new secret area, 14 new monsters, endgame bosses, and more! This is a complete indie package, one that you’d be a fool to pass up.
