Pokken Tournament was finally revealed last year after much speculation from the team that has brought us Tekken. To this point, we still do not know a lot about the game, besides some of the basics and a few Pokemon that are announced, but it sounds like the wait for more information may soon be over.
According to the promotional poster seen on the right that was found by Flying_Wonkey on Twitter, an upcoming NicoNico stream on January 23 will finally reveal more information about the mysterious fighter. NicoNico is known for showing off a number of games, but Pokemon has been one of the stronger series for the stream over time, showcasing new Pokemon and features of past games.
It would be a pretty safe bet that this stream will show off another fighter or two for the game, as well as many some of the features we can expect. Definitely differing from the Super Smash Bros. series, Pokken Tournament will be more in the way of Tekken obviously. This is quite interesting for a franchise that has only really ventured into one type of fighter, so any new information to show off the game is bound to get tons of publicity.
