Insiders share more on the issues surrounding Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin’s divorce after 25 years of being married. Flavin filed for a divorce in Florida on the 19th of August this year.
The shocking news came three months after they celebrated their marriage anniversary with love posts on social media. Close sources disclosed that Stallone was shocked when word of the divorce got to him.
The actor had confirmed earlier that his family was filming an upcoming series for Paramount+. But life sometimes can not be explained. Signs of trouble started when Stallone replaced Flavin’s face tattoo on his biceps with that of his dog. The couple reportedly had an argument that unearthed other issues that led to the current situation.
According to a Hollywood source close to the couple, Flavin and Stallone are different people. What was once exciting and challenging is now infuriating. The couple started growing apart while apportioning blames, which were mostly one-sided, Flavin’s.
Another source close to Flavin claimed that Stallone’s impulsion could be a problem. The source further revealed that the actor does things impulsively without consulting his wife. The dog issue truly sparked a rift between the couple, but Stallone admitted that it wasn’t the actual cause of their divorce. The split is an outburst of several issues the couple experienced.
The Divorce Battle Between Stallone and Flavin
In Jennifer Flavin’s Florida divorce filing, she claimed that Sylvester Stallone is intentionally dissipating their marital assets. In Florida, dissipation of marital assets can include gambling, excessive spending, or unnecessary borrowing by a spouse during the time of a split.
Flavin, 54, also asked that the Rocky star should be stopped from spending or selling their assets until things are completed. She also requested that their Palm Beach home, worth $35 million, be given to her.
Stallone is denying Flavin’s claims. The actor’s legal team responded by stating that he hasn’t engaged in any of the allegations leveled against him, including marital asset dissipation. Her request for the use of the beach house was also contested by his legal team.
