Arcade location tests for Tekken 7 were held in South Korea recently and footage has been posted online showcasing more gameplay.

The arcade version of Tekken 7 runs at a smooth 60fps. You can also view the video below at 60fps if you watch it at 720p. The game has not been announced for console platforms yet, but Bandai Namco is likely to say something about it in 2015.

The following Tekken 7 footage takes a look at the character of Lars as he takes on various other characters controlled by many different players. Some of the characters shown here include Leo, Paul, Kazuya and Xiaoyu.

Tekken 7 runs on Unreal Engine 4 which is the same engine being used for Street Fighter V. It’s worth noting the game is still a work in progress so the visuals aren’t a true representation of the full game.

Still, some people are a little worried that Tekken 7 doesn’t look and play that much differently from Tekken 6. Tekken 6 came out way back in 2009 for home consoles and many expected the sequel be a whole lot different.

The arcade release for Tekken 7 is scheduled for early 2015 over in Japan. There is still some work that Bandai Namco can do to improve on the graphics and gameplay.
