Telltale Games shocked fans years ago when they announced that Bigby and Snow would be returning for the long-awaited second season of The Wolf Among Us. Earlier today, the development studio dropped an update on their social media accounts promising fans more news concerning The Wolf Among Us 2 in early 2022.
The post from Telltale encouraged fans to “hang in for early next year when we can go deeper into things with The Wolf Among Us 2.” Season two of the wildly popular franchise was announced two years ago at The Game Awards, but news of it has been quiet since then.
Aside from the short update on The Wolf Among Us 2, the studio also expressed excitement over their partnership with Deck Nine Games for The Expanse: A Telltale Series, based on the much-beloved Star Trek series. The development team said “we’ll have some more to share about our games and the studio in the next issue of Game Informer.”
Telltale Games finished the 2022 update by thanking fans for their continued support:
Back in 2018, Telltale Games announced they were closing their studio after laying off all of their staff without warning. Projects like The Wolf Among Us 2 and a rumored Stranger Things adaptation had been officially canceled for the time being. However, in 2019, the studio was purchased by LCG Entertainment and is back to making games.
