Madden 21 fans are once again not happy with the NFL sim game Electronic Arts produced. In what is becoming a yearly occurrence, an online backlash started formulating on Sunday afternoon. That backlash even briefly got the keyword #NFLdropEA trending on Twitter. Despite being slated for both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, when the game was first announced, longtime players noted it didn’t appear anything was different in Madden 21....

This year, Marvel celebrates 60 years of web-slinging action with Spider-Man: Panel by Panel. This hardcover collection features a reimagining of Spidey’s first stories by Chip Kidd. The graphic designer will use original vintage copies of Amazing Fantasy #15 and Spider-Man #1 and present them in a new way. The anniversary collection will hit shelves in October to honor the Spider-Man anniversary. What Will Spider-Man: Panel By Panel Include? The free-to-play ARPG known as Marvel Heroes has seen a handful of new additions today. To kick things off, a new face has been added to the Heroes roster. Just in time for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision is now a playable character. The Medal of Honor: Warfighter marketing team had promised fans of the shooter a multiplayer trailer this week, and today they’ve made good on it. In part of a Facebook promotion, the team promised more insight on a handful of screenshots that featured a dense jungle environment. That jungle happened to be the “Phillipine Tungawan Jungle” featured in this Fire Team Trailer. Microsoft has announced during the latest Inside Xbox broadcast the return of X0 events, with a X018 to be held at Mexico City’s Xbox Fan Fest on November 10, 2018. It’s being dubbed “a global celebration of all things Xbox filled with news, first looks, and surprises,” with Phil Spencer teasing first-party and third-party support for the event, which will have a special Inside Xbox episode to reveal all this information....

Microsoft is hoping to extend the profitability of Minecraft by launching a new in-game market in which PC and mobile users can purchase downloadable content to use in their own game. This new digital store called “Minecraft Marketplace” offers the opportunity to third-party creators to benefit from the massive userbase of the game, which is now calculated to have sold over 122 million copies. In the Marketplace, users will find packs that include story content, landscapes, in-game activities, or textures, and they will be able to pay for them using a new virtual currency that can be purchased using real money....

On July 2, San Diego Studios kicked off the 4th Inning Program for MLB The Show 21. This program includes several big rewards, including two Kitchen Sink Choice packs, a Boss Choice pack featuring three 99 OVR cards, and a 90+ OVR Live Series pack. To make the grind a little bit easier, SDS released a new Player program for the 4th Inning Program on July 9. Originally, EA had hoped to release the first footage for Battlefield 3 via Game Informer and the game’s web portal. Things did not go according to plans as the trailer was leaked early on YouTube. EA has since released the official game footage and more details about the upcoming shooter have slipped onto the nets, this time courtesy of GI. The game is slated for a Fall 2011 release, and with that release Battlefield is going to be returning to it’s roots....

Dontnod Entertainment’s Life is Strange is coming to mobile devices, specifically Android, later this summer. Square Enix just announced the good news today, ahead of the release of its vampire-themed RPG Vampyr tomorrow. Life is Strange had previously been available via iOS, but now the rest of the mobile gaming world will get a chance at making their way through the memorable narrative adventure game. This time around, they’ll get a bundle of new features, such as full controller support, touch screen integration, and a photo mode so you can capture your favorite moments with Chloe and Max as their friendship blossoms just like it did when the pair were kids....

The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack is live now, bringing Nintendo 64 games to the service at an additional cost. According to fans, that cost might not be worth it. It all kicks off on March 30 from 11 am to 8 pm in your local time zone. When you spin a Pokéstop of Gym, you will be given a Lotad-themed mission that, once completed, will spawn a Lotad for you to try and capture throughout the day....

WWE recently announced its latest financial report. There’s a small segment on the report that says WWE 2K15 has been very successful for the company. Here’s what WWE reported on its “Consumer Products Division”: “Licensing revenues increased 18% to $16.5 million primarily driven by increased video game revenues that derived from both higher unit sales and effective royalty rates than in the prior year quarter. Estimated unit sales of our newest franchise game, WWE 2K15, increased globally by approximately 30%....

Change your perspective on offense and defense. There are a bunch of different camera angles you choose to play Madden 20 on other than the default view you start out in. To change the camera angles in Madden you’ll need to head into the pause menu to change them on PS4 or Xbox One. You need to head into the settings menu of the game. You can access this by pausing a match and then you can scroll to the right where the gear icon is and select Settings....

Bioware has announced that they’ll be doling out free DLC for Mass Effect 3 next week. The Mass Effect 3: Resurgence pack will add two new cooperative multiplayer maps to the game, as well as new unlockable content in the form of weapons, items, and characters. The Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack includes the following content: Two New Action-Packed Maps – Take the battle to Firebase Condor, a warzone outpost located on one of Palaven’s moons and Firebase Hydra, an old abandoned quarian colony which has since been converted into a critical power facility....

Konami has now released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at Gamescom 2015. The new trailer is looking epic and it’s pretty much spoiler free. The E3 trailer showed more of something that you could consider spoiler-ish. The Gamescom 2015 trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still epic as it shows cutscenes along with some new gameplay footage. We get to see how large the game is as this will be the first open-world environment of the series....

The 3DS will be getting another Metroid game later this year that has been the source of a lot of controversy with fans, but now we finally know when the game will launch. Metroid Prime: Federation Force is set to launch on August 19th in the US, coming to Europe a couple of weeks later on September 2nd. The game was originally announced during the Summer of last year, with fans immediately becoming furious that it uses Metroid Prime in the title without being a true Metroid Prime game....
