Those Spider-Man games on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 are pretty darn good. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has been available on PC for a little while now, and the standalone Miles Morales game is next up to bat. That’s coming in November, but you don’t have to wait till then to find out if your machine can run the game. The full list of PC requirements has been released, and it’s very thorough....

It was a very big deal when Microsoft revealed the Xbox Play Anywhere program, as it meant that every Microsoft Studios-published game would allow you to play the game on both Xbox One and PC with cross-play and cross-save. However, a new change to the program’s description now gives it a very different meaning. The original description for the program said that “Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere,” though it has since been changed to “Every new title published from Microsoft Studios that we showed onstage at E3 this year will support Xbox Play Anywhere…”...

In an interview with Fortune, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella further discussed the partnership with Sony, which came up a few months ago. The business involves cloud gaming, and PlayStation will take advantage of Azure datacenter based-technology for the future of its game streaming service. When thinking of why Sony decided to get in touch with Microsoft for such a deal, the Nadella had words about it. He said, “basically and fundamentally the fact that we have a business model in the areas that they’re partnering with us, where we’re dependent on their success....

One of Minecraft‘s greatest strengths is the universal freedom it provides through its tools for creativity, and one of the best examples of this freedom emanating into the real world is the Blockworks Library, also known as the Uncensored Library. The Blockworks Library is a massive project released in 2020 by Reporters without Borders, BlockWorks, DDB Berlin, and MediaMonks. Together, they built the library with the shared goal of circumventing governmental censorship to spread banned information about Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt....

Activision has revealed the launch trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The best selling shooter franchise in history is gearing up for release in just two weeks and the launch trailer shows off more from the single player campaign of the game. Judging by the trailer, and those that have come before it, the campaign should rival the action of the first two. Whether we’ll get some closure into the story behind Modern Warfare 3 is yet to be revealed, but hopefully, with this being the third in the line of Modern Warfare 3 games, Activision will give gamers some closure into the story behind Makarov....

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will bring back plenty of classic monsters when it launches in September, and today we got a look at one more of them. Barioth, a monster that first appeared in Monster Hunter 3, was heavily rumored to appear in the expansion and we now have confirmation with a video of it in the game. The upcoming expansion to Monster Hunter World takes place in an icy area called Hoarfrost Reach....

More Shadow Pokémon has been revealed to be arriving in Pokémon Go. A few months ago, Pokémon Go introduced Team Go Rocket to the game. Team Go Rocket is based on the iconic Team Rocket from the mainline games; they are a criminal organization that uses Pokémon to do evil deeds. Players can come across a Go Rocket Grunt by going to PokéStops that is surrounded by a black aura. Players can then have a three-v-three Pokémon battle with the grunt; the grunt will use Shadow Pokémon, corrupted Pokémon that have an evil aura surrounding them....
