It appears anxious gamers who want to scratch that NCAA Football itch will know relatively soon just when they can get their hands on the game. The first Map Pack for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 featured three new maps alongside two classics from the original Modern Warfare. Having sold five bajillion copies of this what many thought to be overpriced DLC, Activision is sticking with this formula for success. Can three of the most talented development groups in gaming do justice to the industry’s most popular franchise? It is now confirmed that Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software, and the fragmented Infinity Ward will be collaborating for Modern Warfare 3. The three studios are all Activision owned and operated. Sledgehammer which was founded by ex-EA developers, Infinity Ward which is the remaining team members that didn’t move to Respawn, and Raven Software who are allegedly working on the multiplayer component for Modern Warfare 3....

With little left to the imagination when it comes to Modern Warfare 3, it looks like we’ve got a release date for Activision’s upcoming shooter. Sources have indicated that November 8th will be the day that the game releases. It has been speculated for some time that the release date would be the 8th, but IGN confirmed this news earlier today. The leak comes by way of a retail poster that clearly marks the game’s release date as the 8th....

This week’s sales charts for the United Kingdom bring the first two big debuts of the year, with Monster Hunter: World and Dragon Ball FighterZ taking the first and second places in the list respectivelly. Capcom has many reasons to celebrate this morning, as Monster Hunter: World for PS4 and Xbox One has had by far the biggest debut of the franchise, and that’s only counting with physical sales. A clear majority of fans played the game on PS4, as that version attracted 72% of physical sales....

In today’s Capcom E3 2021 Showcase, the company has announced that the Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 title update will be released on June 24. It will come with a bunch of downloadable event quests as well as their unique rewards: “Almudron: Fashion Victim”: Hunt an Almudron in Sandy Plains – Reward: Black Leather Leggings. “Fooled in the Flooded Forest”: Hunt a Chameleos in Flooded Forest – Reward: Play Possum gesture. “Rampage: Muddi Grass”: Rampage quest – Reward: Festival sticker set....

Monster Hunter World’s expansion, Iceborne, helped the game reach yet another milestone. As a result, Monster Hunter World solidified itself as the all-time best selling Capcom title. And it will probably retain the position for time to come. Back in June, Capcom revealed that the game sold 13.1 million units. Then, on September 6, Monster Hunter World received the Iceborne expansion on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Now, Capcom states that the game surpassed the 14 million units mark, around the world....

Capcom has finally added the 21:9 resolutions support in the PC version of Monster Hunter World. The feature was added to the game via Patch 5.1 which went live earlier today. It is bizarre to see a feature like this (21:9 resolutions support) missing from the game since launch. ​ In addition to this, Update 5.1 also added the Push-To-Talk feature for the in-game VOIP (again a feature that has been missing in the game since launch)....
