Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has announced, among a plethora of news, that What If? will focus on alternate stories from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Infinity Saga’. For those who do not know, Marvel’s What If? is a show coming to Disney+ that explores alternate stories. The concept of the show comes from the comic book series of the same name. What If? is a format through which Marvel writers can explore other possible outcomes to their comic events....

Today has been a big day for the Mass Effect series, as we’ve gotten a new trailer along with more information regarding some of the game’s optional content. However, this latest news has to do with the games in the series that are already available to play, as the last two are now backwards compatible on Xbox One. The Xbox 360 versions of Mass Effect 2 and 3 are now available to play on Xbox One through the backwards compatibility feature, which will likely grant some slight performance boosts in the process....

Creed 3 Finds Its Director By Looking To Its Star Michael B. Jordan’s co-star Tessa Thompson confirmed that the 33-year-old actor will be behind the camera for Creed 3. This announcement comes after hearing rumors about Jordan being placed in the director’s chair for the third film in the series. Creed 3 will continue the story of Adonis “Donnie” Creed, a boxer fulfilling his destiny after learning about his famous father, Apollo Creed....

Matt Booty, the new boss at Microsoft Studios, has provided more details about his and his company’s vision for what matters gaming and the video games development, especially when it comes to the single-player experiences. Booty, who was in charge of the Minecraft franchise before embarking on this new quest, doesn’t have a much different vision in comparison with what Microsoft has done thus far on Xbox One. It’s a vision about persistent experiences that have a lot of longevity, can be shared and streamed all over the multiple platforms owned by the publisher....

Microsoft’s E3 conference today had a large focus on the games, but they did take the time to bring up their HoloLens AR device that we’ve heard before. The headset looks awesome, but perhaps the biggest reveal is that you can use the hugely popular Minecraft with it. VR is definitely the future based on what we are seeing with devices like Oculus Rift and the Morpheus and while Microsoft will be partnering to have Oculus Rift, HoloLens is going to be something different entirely....

Microsoft’s Xbox One is getting its own video game streaming service, akin to Sony’s PlayStation Now and Nvidia’s GeForce Now. The company has been hinting at the service since November 2017, when Microsoft’s Phil Spencer told Bloomberg that Microsoft would debut a streaming service “in the next three years.” Spencer said Microsoft’s streaming service would not require a console “for some types of content.” Spencer confirmed development of the game streaming service during the E3 press conference....

Cyberpunk 2020 creator Mike Pondsmith had the chance to give Cyberpunk 2077 a deeper look and even play the game during the last few months, and in a recent interview with Polygon explained how he feels about the controversial first person view. Interestingly, Pondsmith said he got the opportunity to play across some scenes that we’ve not been showed yet, which also lets you learn how deep the development process apparently is....

The sequel to the 3DS RPG lands in a few short months. In recently revealed financial results for the companies 2018/2019 fiscal year, Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World has shipped over 12 million units across PC, PS4 and Xbox One, making it the companies most successful game of all time. They also announced that the remake of Resident Evil 2 has shipped over 4 million units, while Devil May Cry 5 has shipped over 2 million units. All this has combined with other product sales to give Capcom a 13% increase in pre-tax profits over the previous year....

An investigation by Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (DPC) found that LinkedIn had processed hashed email addresses of approximately 18 million non-LinkedIn members and targeted these individuals on Facebook without necessary permission, a new report has revealed. Broadcast journalist Barbara Walters has died at 93 years old, ABC News has reported. The reporter broke ground in the industry and was most notably a broadcaster at ABC News in the ’70s. Like most fields, it was (and still mostly is) dominated by men, but people like Walters opened the door for more people, particularly women trying to get into reporting. In 1976, Barbara Walters joined ABC News in 1976, leading to her career in broadcast journalism....
