Microsoft wants to elevate Halo to a new status in the esports scene with the launch of Halo Infinite. The game, which will be launching on December 8, will be doing so with nine partnered teams all vying for the spot of the best Halo team on the planet. The roster of teams is made up of some of esports heaviest hitters, and consists of Cloud9, Envy, eUnited, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Sentinels, and Spacestation Gaming....
Installation times on the Xbox One are kind of long. These long install times and possible downloads necessary for day one patches can have users waiting upwards of an hour to play a game for the first time upon purchase. According to Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, it’s something that Microsoft needs to get better with. “We need to get better at chunking our games so the partial install allows games to start sooner,” said Spencer via Twitter....

Blacks Ops comes to Warzone. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has finally been revealed, and Sergeant Frank Woods is now available in Modern Warfare and Warzone to promote the upcoming game. Woods joins the Coalition under the Demon Dogs banner, equipped with his own unique Black Ops-themed weapon blueprints and items. Woods is a pre-order bonus for Black Ops Cold War, so you’ll have to spend a little more than usual to secure him as an Operator in Modern Warfare and Warzone....

Marvel announced yesterday they would be releasing a series of one-shot comics titled The End. This series will chronicle the final stories of some of their most popular heroes. The announcement comes straight from the Retailers Panel at New York Comic-Con. The series will be six issues long and will launch in January of next year.
