Mario Party came out on the Nintendo 64 in 1999 (1998 in Japan), throwing many of the series’ prominent characters together on a game board as they sought to collect more Stars than anyone else by the game’s end. The series has spanned multiple platforms since then and Nintendo is looking to celebrate its history by releasing Mario Party: The Top 100. Mario Party: The Top 100, as the name implies, takes the best minigames from titles in the main series (no Mario Party Advance, DS or Star Rush) and meshes them all together in one title on the Nintendo 3DS....

New York City Comic Con is in full effect this weekend and amid some major announcements, one significant one comes from the Marvel Panel as they have announced that everyone’s favorite X-Man, Wolverine, is once again getting his own solo comic adventure! Marvel made this announcement at their Dawn of X panel at NYCC yesterday. They announced the creative team behind the series will be Benjamin Percy as the writer and being drawn by the team of Adam Kubert and Viktor Bogdanovic....

A new Patrol Mode will arrive in an update before the expansion. Marvel’s Avengers will add a new hero and map in the Black Panther: War for Wakanda expansion later this summer, but not before a new Patrol Mode update is added to the experience. Over on Twitter we learned at least the month the expansion would drop, and it looks like the fans won’t have to wait long. Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda drops in August after the Patrol Mode update....

Spider-Man and more are coming to Marvel’s Avengers. Marvel’s Avengers launched with six playable heroes, but there are many more DLC characters on the way. A handful of Marvel heroes have already been confirmed as upcoming DLC characters, including Spider-Man and Hawkeye, but there is a massive list of leaked characters that have been found within the game files. These characters range from well-known heroes that have been in numerous MCU movies to lesser-known characters that have been mostly relegated to the pages of Marvel comics....

One of the biggest surprises of the last generation is reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch. A Portuguese retailer has indeed listed a Nintendo Switch version of Metro Redux, a compilation that would include Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. According to GamingReplay, the pack would be releasing on the hybrid console for €44,99 (around $50) in December. The website even has a Nintendo Switch boxart, so it looks like the information here is pretty reliable....

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphones, the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro are going to be one of the first Snapdragon 865 powered smartphones, but they are not expected for a couple of months. However leaks about the phones have started coming out already. A Chinese blogger and leakster, who according to Gizmochina, has a good track record, has now published some key specifications of both Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphones....

Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch has become the best-selling Microsoft game in Japan. While Microsoft’s Xbox brand and games have been popular in the United States for years, it has failed to find much audience in Eastern Asian countries like Japan. Nintendo and Sony’s PlayStation consoles have a strong presence in Japan, whereas Microsoft has been unable to make it big in the country. Xbox consoles don’t sell well in Japan, nor do the games from the Xbox Games Studios....

The 4th Inning Program for MLB The Show 21 began on July 1, and with it, a slew of new rewards and new bosses. To make the XP grind a bit easier, San Diego Studios, as per tradition, released a new Inning Conquest challenge. MLB The Show players can now gain 25,000 XP towards the 4th Inning Program for completing this Conquest. With that said, let’s take a look at the map, plus the objectives and rewards for completing it....

It’s that time of year again, as MLB The Show 22 is now live worldwide. And the first Player Program is out as well. The first one is a Starter Program, with the main reward being an 82 OVR player item of Babe Ruth. This Ruth card will be important, as even though it is only a Gold card, it can be used for XP. Users will be able to get 10,000 XP towards the Faces of the Franchise program just for obtaining this item....

Now that her lawsuit with Netflix is settled, Mo’Nique will be shooting her comedy stand-up special with the streaming service. The lawsuit accused the streaming service of racial and gender bias. Mo’Nique’s problems with Netflix started when they offered the Oscar-winner $500,000 for a comedy stand-up special, but she turned it down because it was a “low-ball offer.” She filed the suit after accusing the streamer of a “blacklisting act of retaliation....

A throwback to the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 featured a fantastic campaign with amazing missions, character twists, and overall fun gameplay. Capcom just released a launch trailer for Monster Hunter Rise on PC. The popular RPG was originally released on the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021, and this new PC release will finally allow players to experience the game in 4K. Ride the sword-wielding Monster. Glavenus is a popular Monster in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for a good reason. I mean, look at it. Not only its design is awesome, but it literally has a sword for a tail, which can grind it with its teeth and throw some terribly strong attacks. Hulu has announced that Lesley-Ann Brandt, star of the CW series Lucifer, will star in the pilot of History of a Pleasure Seeker, a musical based on a 2004 novel of the same name by Richard Mason. Cara Woodcock, Callum Kerr, Olumide Olorunfemi, and Bebe Bettencourt are also set to star in the pilot, which was ordered by Hulu in March 2022. Lesley-Ann Brandt is best known for her role as the demon Mazikeen, or Maze, in Lucifer, the CW series, which premiered in 2016 and concluded in 2021....

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII sees the return of series heroine, Lightning, in a world that only has 13 days before total annihilation. This new gameplay trailer and screenshots offer a first look at the more action-oriented combat system where the player has direct control of the character. Also introduced is Luxerion, the divine city of light and prayer, where Lightning will encounter new enemies and monsters. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII sees the return of composers Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta and Mitsuto Suzuki, who have all worked on the soundtrack for the previous title, FINAL FANTASY XIII-2....

While English-speaking gamers are only recently started playing the MMORPG Lost Ark, the game already debuted in South Korea first back on December 4, 2019, and much more classes and content have been added since then. Since the North American and European servers are launched much later in 2022, they’re still playing catch up with the original release.
