Indie developer Nolla Games has announced Noita, a new magical action rogue-lite title set to release for PC. Noita (the Finnish word for ‘Witch’) is described as a “magical action rogue-lite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated.” Players can “fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you’ve crafted yourself.” The game will feature pixel-based physics, magic, and a procedurally-generated world....

The Chief Technology Officer of Meta, Andrew Bosworth, has warned that poor moderation of the upcoming metaverse could pose an “existential threat.” According to an internal memo obtained by Financial Times, the Meta chief said that the company could not afford to have loose ends, at least in the Meta-built metaverse product offerings. Netmarketshare has released the market share data of desktop operating systems and web-browsers in March 2020. According to the report, Windows 10 now holds 57.34 percent of the desktop OS market and is followed by Windows 7 at 26.23 percent. Windows 8.1 comes in third with 3.69 percent market share, while macOS X 10.14 comes fourth with 2.62 percent. While Microsoft will be happy to see that its hard work on migrating Edge from Edge-HTML to Chromium is paying off, Mozilla will, no doubt, be disheartened that Firefox continues to lose market share in the face of the stiff competition from not only Chrome and Edge, but also Opera and Safari....

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s Developer Diary today revealed lots of new information about changes and additions coming to Capcom’s popular game.
