Markus ‘Notch’ Persson is liking what he’s hearing out of Microsoft and the Xbox One. The developer best known for Minecraft, thinks that Microsoft’s recently announced policies concerning indie developers and self-publishing “a wonderful idea”. In a move that allows all Xbox One units to be used as development kits, Microsoft vaguely outlined their policies for self-publishing on the new console earlier this week. “I think it’s a wonderful idea to have the actual box be the dev kits,” Notch told Edge....

Infinity Ward is set to issue a patch to eliviate the issues that are currently surrounding it’s 2009 title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Robert Bowling recently announced via Twitter that the patch will release on the PS3 March 8th with the specific focus of the patch to stop hacking on the ps3 version of Modern Warfare 2. The developer claimed that he didn’t want to give out too much information regarding the contents of the patch, considering that it may be a security risk....

Monark, the Japanese role-playing title from former Shin Megami Tensei developers, finally has a Western release date. Announced via the game’s “Adversaries” trailer, NIS America revealed it will be coming stateside on February 22, 2022. It will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The trailer also unveils an English dub, which is typical for games published by NIS.
