Nintendo’s 3DS press events are in the U.S. and U.K. this week and among the specific details of the handheld are expected to be revealed, it’s also been hinted that a Metroid title will be announced for the device. Jonathan Ross just recently confirmed the announcement and got the inside scoop as a presenter at the event in the U.K. While it wasn’t a 100% Metroid is coming announcement it was more along the lines of a coy remark that can only be interpreted one way by the ravenous Nintendo fanboys/girls....

Minecraft’s new snapshot continues to focus on the Nether, as Mojang prepares for the release of the Nether update later this year. New ambient sounds have been added to the Nether biome, and you now have to use the Smithing table to craft Netherite. Minecraft on Xbox 360 has recently recieved title update 8. As these things go, you’ll be prompted to download the update the next time that you log in to play Minecraft on the Xbox 360. While the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic has led to production loss of an estimated over Rs 15,000 crore for the Indian handset manufacturing industry, there will be no sharp decline in demand for mobile phones in a post-lockdown scenario, predicts industry body India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA). “People realise the great value of it now. Monster Hunter Rise developer Capcom has announced a digital event set to showcase the game’s new expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Announced today on their official Monster Hunter Twitter account, the event will present new features from the upcoming expansion. Mario Kart Tour is adding a landscape mode, as announced by Nintendo in a tweet on the official account of the mobile game. Rumors have been swirling recently about a potential XCOM-like game set in the Marvel universe coming out of Firaxis. At Gamescom Opening Night Live, those rumors have been confirmed, as Firaxis and 2K announced Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The new tactical game sees you star as a new Marvel hero working alongside characters from all over the Marvel universe. The trailer featured several Marvel characters, most notably Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Wolverine, Blade, Captain Marvel, Nico Minoru, and Ghost Rider....

User-spotted files have surfaced on NeoGAF indicating a hefty leak for Sony’s upcoming franchise brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The information, said to have been obtained from a private beta, not only provides a list of previously unannounced characters, items, minions, and stages, it also reveals some legitimate looking screenshots of those stages. Though Sackboy and Ratchet & Clank were inevitable shoe-ins for a game featuring Sony’s most popular franchise characters, notably added to the fight (according to the rumored documents) are Dante from Devil May Cry, Raiden from MGS, and the pleasantly surprising addition of Sir Daniel Fortesque from the original PlayStation’s MediEvil....

From Scream to Scooby-Doo, Matthew Lillard is definitely in the runnings for the King of Halloween, but this year he is stepping into a new role: Dungeon Master. On October 30th, Lillard is hosting a charity Dungeons & Dragons game to raise money for Extra Life!
