Konami announced that it had removed Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 from digital storefronts. That removing the games on online stores for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo 3DS. The reason for the removal was that Konami is currently working on renewing the licensing for some of the select historical archive footage used in both games. Konami promises it will only be a temporary thing....

The moderation team for Battlefield 2042’s subreddit communicated on Thursday that they’re considering temporarily shutting down the subreddit in response to toxic behavior exhibited in the community. “It’s an understatement when we say that this subreddit has grown incredibly toxic,” wrote the moderation team. The team noted a number of “insults, harassment, and vile comments” that were directed toward both members of the community and Battlefield 2042’s developer DICE in regard to the current state of the game....

Life is Strange: True Colors has gotten review bombed on Steam by Chinese players, due to the presence of the Tibetan flag in-game. The game’s Steam page still holds “Very positive” reviews, with the negative ones mostly coming from Chinese players. Life is Strange: True Colors uses the town of Haven Springs as its setting, which includes a shop named “Treasures of Tibet”. A Tibetan flag can very clearly be seen right above the store’s entrance – something that didn’t sit right with a host of Chinese players....

If there was one game that would have been predicted to utilize the PS Vita’s touch-screen capabilities to their maximum effect, it would have been LittleBigPlanet. Sackboy is coming to the Vita and it looks like players will have endless fun building levels and creating experiences for their friends to try. You can see from the video that the gameplay will be everything one would expect from a LittleBigPlanet title and the fact that the touch-screen controls will be necessary to solving puzzles and progressing through levels makes this game a sure bet come release time....
